Picked up by Wigan Athletic in 2005 from French side Bastia, Pascal went on to an illustrious career in England playing for Tottenham Hotspur, Blackburn Rovers & Sunderland.

His first and only season at Wigan Athletic saw him pip Manchester United’s Gary Neville into the PFA Team of the Year, and make it into the France FIFA World Cup 2006 squad.

Pascal continued to play at clubs lower down in the English football pyramid, even making appearances for our very own Mark Hayes at his then club Ashton Town and Pilkington FC.
